The Institut Oftàlmic de Mallorca (IOM) relies on the most modern technical equipment so that its units operate perfectly.

It is a digital online system that allows us to conduct image diagnostics in conjunction with the latest technology: optical callipers, ultrasound scanner, corneal tomography machine, biometer, computer-assisted campimetry, HRT2, optic nerve and blind spot tomography, laser scanners, ophthalmoscopes, digital angiography for fluorescein exams.

Major ambulatory ophthalmic surgery or out-patient surgery is performed at the Institut Oftàlmic de Mallorca (IOM). This care technique facilitates the patient’s recovery by preventing unnecessary discomfort:
